English · 5 minutes a day · the first lesson with no sign-up

Learn English with Bible stories

Free. No card. You already know the story; Biblup teaches you English on top of it, one sentence at a time, until you read the verse in the original.

Where do you want to start?

It takes less than 3 minutes, with no sign-up.

How it works

Three steps, every day. Each Unit is a whole story, retold at your level, and it ends on the real verse.

1

Read the Story at your level

The Unit opens with the story retold in A1 English, with sentence-by-sentence audio and the translation into your language hidden until you ask for it. Tap any word.

Jesus saw the people. He gave them bread and fish.
2

Practice with Tips and exercises

Each lesson reopens a slice of the story, explains a Tip and moves on to the exercises: choose, listen, build the sentence and, at the end, say something about yourself.

Tip · "gave" is the past of "give". It doesn't change with the person: I gave, he gave.
3

Review and read the Original verse

The words come back in Review on the right days. The Unit closes on the Original verse: the Bible verse in English, with the words you already know highlighted.

"We only have here five loaves and two fish."
The Original verse moment

You read the real verse. And you understand it.

After three lessons on the same story, the original text appears with no retelling and no simplification. The words you learned are highlighted; the ones you're missing get an entry at a tap.

  • World English Bible, a modern public-domain translation
  • Each Unit highlights a well-known verse, chosen for recognition
  • No commentary or preaching: just the language of the text

Create a Group and send the link

Anyone can create a Group, copy the invite link and see who studied during the week. No license, no seats, no institution sign-up: it's just a link.

  • Members see each other's XP for the week, never answers or words
  • Everyone studies in their own language and at their own pace
  • The one who invites is the Leader: they can rename the Group and generate a new link

Read freely, at your own pace, in Read Mode

Outside the daily Lessons, Read Mode lets the Learner read the lesson Source — the WEB, World English Bible, the only source used in the exercises, entries and English audio — freely, by book and chapter. Tap any word to see its meaning.

Where a Bible has already been imported for your Native language, the same verse appears as Parallel text, in your language. To be frank: Parallel text doesn't exist yet for every Native language.

Questions before you start

The essentials, no fluff.

Is it really free?
A1 is free today, with no card and no ads. That's not a promise of free forever: it's our current stance.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. The demo Lesson runs as a Guest, and your progress stays on your device until you create an account.
Does it work in my language?
The interface speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English today. More languages come after launch.
Can I switch Courses?
Yes. You can start the second Course at any time without losing your progress in the first.
Is my data safe?
Read the details in our Privacy policy.
Do I need to know English to start?
No. The Course starts from zero: everyone enters today through Unit 1.

Refer a friend, earn XP

Every Learner has a personal Referral link. When it brings a new sign-up, the one who referred — and, when it applies, the one who was invited — earns XP, Streak or a Freeze, the item that protects your streak. Never money.

A Referral is not a Group

A Group is studying together: seeing each other's XP for the week. A Referral is a different mechanism — the personal link that spreads Biblup and rewards both sides.
