What is the first lesson like?

Updated on October 10, 2026

The first lesson of every unit is special: it is the story.

Instead of doing exercises right away, you will read and listen to the complete story of that unit. We use a simplified version of the biblical text, adapted to your level.

  • Audio line by line: You listen to the story sentence by sentence.
  • Tap on any word: If you don't know a word, just tap on it to see the translation and hear its sound.
  • Parallel text: Below the English sentence, you can see the translation in your language.

There are no wrong answers and you don't lose hearts here. The goal of the first lesson is just to enjoy the reading, understand the context, and get familiar with the new words.

After you finish the story, the next lessons will have short exercises so you can practice what you just read.
