What is a group?

Updated on October 10, 2026

A group is a space to study together with your church, family or friends. When you are in a group, you can see the weekly progress of each person, which helps keep everyone motivated.

Each person studies their own course at their own pace. Being in a group does not force you to do the same lessons as the others.

What is shared

When you join a group, you agree to share some basic progress with the other members. They will be able to see:

  • Your displayed name (the one you chose in your profile, or your real name if you opted to show it).
  • Your XP earned in the current week.
  • Your current daily streak.
  • Your current step in the course.
