Can I play the audio slower?

Yes! If you are having trouble understanding a spoken sentence, you can slow down the audio at any time.

Changing the speed

Whenever there is a button to play audio (in stories, lessons, or exercises), you will see two options:

• Normal speed: The main play button plays the audio at a natural, conversational pace.
• Slow speed: Tap the smaller button next to it (usually marked with a turtle icon or labeled as slow) to play the exact same sentence slower and more clearly.

Slowing down the audio does not affect your XP or progress. You can listen to the slow version as many times as you need to get the pronunciation right!
