How do phone reminders work?

Updated on October 10, 2026

Biblup can send reminders to your phone or computer to help you keep your daily study habit. These are called web push notifications. They work directly from your browser, depending on whether your device supports them and if the feature is currently active.

Types of reminders

When notifications are available and turned on, you can receive:

  • Streak at risk: An alert in the evening (local time) if you haven't studied yet, to prevent you from losing your streak.
  • Reviews due: A reminder when you have a certain number of words that need to be reviewed.

How to configure

You can turn notifications on or off at any time:

  1. Open your Settings in the profile menu.
  2. Go to the Notifications section.
  3. You will see toggles to turn each type of push notification on or off.
