What do the levels mean, and what does "coming soon" mean?
Updated on October 18, 2026
Each course (Old Testament and New Testament) is divided into levels, from Beginner to Advanced. A level gathers a set of stories and Psalm readings, with a little more English at each step. Every level ends with a Level test that opens the next one.
How a new level opens
- Finish the stories of your level. The ones you skipped with the Test-out count as finished.
- Take the Level test at the end of the level.
- When you pass, the next level opens on your map.
What "coming soon" means
A level that Biblup has not published yet shows as coming soon, on your map and on the screen you see after the last published level. It means the stories of that level are still being prepared, and there is no date yet. Nothing is lost while you wait: your progress, your review and the Read Mode keep working, and you can study the other course.
Get an email when a level is ready
On a level that is coming soon, tap Notify me when it's ready. When the level is published for your course and language, we send you one email, and only one for each request.
- We use the email of your account, and the request is tied to that course, level and language.
- The email belongs to Content news for your Course. You can turn that type off at any time in Settings › Notifications › Email. With it turned off, the request is closed and no email is sent. See How do I stop receiving emails?.
- If you delete your account, your requests are deleted with it.
