How do I skip a unit or test my level?

Updated on October 10, 2026

If you already know some English, you don't need to start from scratch. Biblup offers tests to skip what you already know.

Test-out (Skip a unit)

If you find the current unit too easy, you can try to skip it and unlock the next one:

  1. Tap the "Test-out" button on the unit in your map.
  2. You will take a test covering the words of that unit, without hints or explanations.
  3. If you get enough answers right, the entire unit will be marked as complete and you will earn the corresponding XP!

Don't worry about missing vocabulary: the words you skipped will simply be added to your daily reviews so you don't forget them.

Level test

To advance to an entirely new difficulty level (for example, jumping to the A2 level, when available), you must take the Level test at the end of your current path.

The Level test works the same way as the Test-out, and it also consumes hearts if you make mistakes. Passing the test makes your new level official and unlocks the corresponding stories all at once.
