What is a Psalm reading?

Updated on October 10, 2026

As you progress through your learning path, you will occasionally encounter special units on your map called a Leitura (Reading), which are usually Psalms.

A moment to pause

A Psalm reading is designed to be a brief pause in your journey. Instead of a full story followed by days of exercises, a Leitura unit is much simpler:

  • You will read and listen to a short window of 2 to 4 verses.
  • You can tap on highlighted words to see their translations.
  • There are no exercises, no grammar hints, and no reviews generated from this text.

The goal is simply to enjoy the poetry of the text, listen to the language, and reflect on the words before you continue with the next story on your map. Like any other unit, it ends by showing you the original verses in full.
