Who sees my name on Biblup?

Updated on October 10, 2026

By default, your learning on Biblup is private. Other students cannot see your answers, your words in review, or your age.

To interact with other students, we use a display name. When you join Biblup, you get the default name "Aprendiz" (Learner). You can choose your own display name in your profile at any time.

Where your display name appears

Your display name and your XP are shown:

  • On the weekly league leaderboard (along with your streak).
  • In the member list of any group you join.

The league will always show your display name, never your real account name.

Groups and your account name

The only situation where people can see your account name (for example, the name registered on your Google login) is inside a group, and only if you allow it.

In your settings, there is an option to use your account name instead of your display name within the group. This option is turned off by default to protect your privacy.

We do not create a public web profile for your account. If you delete your account or leave a group, your name disappears from the list immediately.
